Often, when a problem arises, we are eager to rush to blame someone else, rather than accept any responsibility for a snafu.

Most business errors are a result of two or more events.

Next time an oversight occurs in your workplace, consider your part. Was there anything you should have thought through that would have avoided the predicament? What proactive steps could you have taken? What training could you have offered to strengthen the employee? Could you or should you have seen the problem coming?
